Summer Events for Callander Brass

Callander Brass held their first Annual General Meeting in the Dance Studio of McLaren Community Leisure Centre on Thursday 25th June.

With 28 members present, and apologies received from 5 others, the progress of the band was reviewed by Chair, Conductor and Treasurer, all of who reported their delight at the work done during this first season. Band members went on to discuss amendements to the Band Constitution, to elect two new members to augment the retained committee, and to discuss a number matters of other business.

Summer Performance Dates for 2009 were agreed at the meeting, and are now visible in the Band Diary section of the website. ALL MEMBERS are asked to note the details provided and to notify either the Band Secretary or Conductor promptly if unable to fulfil any of these dates.

The revised Band Constitution is now available for registered users of the website by logging in and accessing the Members Only area. Minutes of the AGM will follow shortly.
