Detailed below are the key dates for your diary over the next couple of months: Thursday 24th May 2012 - 8.00pm - performance at Tigh Mhor - there will be no practice in the Primary School Saturday 2nd June 2012 - 12.00pm tbc - Opening of the new football pitch - Kippen - this will involve marching!! Thursday 7th June 2012 - 7.30pm - Spring Concert, Dreadnought Hotel, Callander- will include all three groups of Callander Brass performing Saturday 16th June 2012 - 12.15pm - Doune Gala - involves marching!! Thursday 21st June 2012 - 7.30pm - Band AGM - Callander Primary School Hope to see as many members and supporters as possible at the events. |

Band members are reminded that there is a concert at Tigh Mor instead of rehearsal this Thursday. Start time is 8.00pm. The band diary has also been updated showing the various events we have coming up, please let us know which ones you can manage. Also, we are arranging a Social Evening including ceilidh for Saturday 1st September 2012 in the Dreadnought Hotel, Callander. All members, friends and family are invited. Please put the date in your diary!! |

It was decided at rehearsal last night to cancel next week's rehearsal (Thursday 5th April) due to the Easter holidays. We are currently trying to find a rehearsal venue for the following week, Thursday 12th April, as the Bridgend is not available. Please keep an eye on the website for updates. |

Due to unforeseen circumstances and with reluctance the band is having to withdraw from the Fife Brass Band Festival on Saturday 21st April. Rehearsal will be as normal on Thursday when we will begin preparation for our concert in Viewfield Church, Stirling on Friday 18th May 2012. |

A reminder of the remaining contest rehearsals:
Thursday 1st March - 7.30pm - Callander Primary
Saturday 3rd March - 3pm - Bridgend
Tuesday 6th March - 8pm - Callander Primary
Thursday 8th March - 7.30pm - Callander Primary
Saturday 10th March - Contest day - arrive at Rothes Hall, Glenrothes at 7.50pm at the latest!!!
